About our client
For our client, the world\'s premier company from the FMCG sector, currently we are looking for a motivated person to cover the position of Sales Financial Analyst.
As a Sales Financial Analyst you will work closely with the sales teams for the Eastern European markets, supporting the financial aspects of client\'s relationship with our retailers.
Job description
- Work with Sales/Country Managers to analyze and prepare account and brand level forecasts
- Provide insights and recommendations on allocation of trade spend to individual accounts; work with Sales to construct and implement individual account policy and discretionary spending
- Collect and prepare information on customer-related spend as part of client\'s forecasting cycle
- Refine existing and implement new reports and controls in support of tracking actuals against forecast
- Provide analytical support for trade spending - conduct pre- and post-program analytics for large initiatives
- Create solutions to meet evolving internal and external customer needs and drive implementation of new initiatives as needed
- Analyze trends in actual results at retail and relationships between retail sales, orders, and shipping
- Publish standard reports in support of business execution (shippings, trade spending) and enhance/modify reporting to address business needs
- Prepare annual actual account P&Ls.
Who we are looking for
- Master degree in Finance/Economics or similar
- 3-6 years work experience in the area of commercial finance, preferably in a consumer goods company or retailer
- Strong proficiency with MS Office tools (advanced Excel required, PowerPoint experience beneficial)
- Familiarity/capacity to learn database and query tools and techniques
- Fluent knowledge of English
- Strong communication skills in a geographically-distributed and fast-paced environment
- Very strong business acumen and analytical skills
- Ability to interface with all levels of management
- Ability to make decisions with imperfect information
- Independent thinker but able to operate as part of a larger team
