Olenex was established in 2012 as a joint venture between Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) and Wilmar International Limited (Wilmar) in order to manufacture and market high quality refined vegetable oils & fats to the European Economic Area and Switzerland.
An opportunity has arisen for a Sales Manager in Szamotuły (Poznan region), Poland. The main purpose of this role is to support the implementation and development of the Olenex sales strategy in Poland and Eastern Europe, tracking market trends and activities in the field of vegetable oils as well as the preparation and presentation of sales figures and other information relating to the market in the form of studies and reports.
Reporting to the Commercial Manger Oils, the main duties of this role will include:
- Actively participate in the overall goal to maximize Olenex profitability within a dynamic operating environment
- Actively manage accounts by maintaining on-going and regular communications & visits with specific customers to enhance relationships and customer service to increase profitability
- Supporting the continuous growth of Olenex' market share with existing customers and by acquisition of new customers
- Supervision of contract execution in communication with the departments: logistics, manufacturing, quality and accounting
- Acquisition and analysis of market sensitive information, penetrate market opportunities and maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of market trends
- Timely preparation of required reports, analyses and summaries
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- At least 2 years of experience in the sales area in the food /FMCG sector (B2B) on the domestic market with demonstrated capacity to excel within high risk fast paced work environment
- University education (preferably in Economics, trading)
- Very good knowledge of English
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Experience in customer service and acquiring new customers
- Strong negotiation skills
- Teamwork skills
- The ease in establishing and maintain relationships with trading partners
