SAP BW Team Leader

We are looking for IT/accounting/finance specialist who has experience in working within SAP environment.

1. The jobholder manages a team of SAP Senior Specialists and Specialists from SAP FICO, BW, GRC, BPC, BCS area.


2. The jobholder manages the SAP Disclosure Management application for Finance and other areas of the business. The jobholder successfully delivers support helpdesk services via timely issue resolutions, escalation, and resolver group liaison on a daily basis. The jobholder is a subject matter expert in SAP Disclosure Management.
   The jobholder is also a subject matter expert in the SAP BEx Designer. As a member of the Reporting Team the jobholder maintains queries in the BEx Designer and supports period end reporting processes.


3. Furthermore the jobholder works in smaller projects and initiatives, providing technical and business related expertise to these initiatives. The jobholder also provides input into continuous improvements of internal support processes, tools, and infrastructure.

Team management:

• Management of a team providing SAP support in the area of SAP FICO, BPC, BCS and BW


• Collaboration with peers and key stakeholders on Capgemini and Client side

Operations:

• Responsible for the day-to-day provision of SAP application business support in the SAP Business Warehouse functions during 12 closing cycles per year


• Carrying out implementation cycles of enhancements and change requests in area(s) of expertise


• Involvement in knowledge management, documentation, and training


• Providing and brokering support services to multiple customer groups

Process improvement:

• Providing input to associated projects as needed


• Review existing processes and tools to improve/ streamline existing operations processes

• People management experience is a must


• 
  At least 3 years working experience in an international accounting and reporting environment, with appropriate background
  


• Expert-level knowledge in one or more these areas of expertise: SAP BW/BI, SAP BEx Designer, SAP Disclosure Management, MS Excel


• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or IT


• Very good command of spoken and written English


• Communicative knowledge of German would be an asset


• Experience in actuarial reporting or financial reporting


• Service oriented, willingness to develop skills and scope of responsibility


• Very good knowledge of MS Office


• Good analytical and conceptual skills, good communication and presentation skills
