SAP Finance Support Specialist (BW, BI, SAP FI)

You will be an independent process and technical expert for Finance related systems (SAP FI, BI/BW, BPC, VIM), providing daily support to operational teams as well as to Line of Business. You will be part of system implementation projects and continuous improvement initiates. Business Process and System Support team focuses on providing technical expertise in the area of finance (Accounting to Reporting, Controlling, Financial and tax reporting) systems globally. Daily we collaborate with stakeholders from Line of Business, various IT experts and Vendors, ensuring high quality support and communication while adding the excellence to every step of the process.

Acting as a 2nd line support of Incidents and Requests related to Lundbeck finance and procurement systems and platforms (SAP FI, SAP BI/BW, BPC, Concur, VIM, Concur, Ariba); tasks include but not limited to: 
- Master data changes 
- Access and Roles support in BI, BW, SAP SI
- BPC administration and maintenance 
- Data extract, reporting
- Data flow error analysis 
- Closing company codes in SAP
- Workflow configuration 
- Data flow error analysis 
- System error log monitoring 

• Investigating and solving incident in BI, BW, BPC, SAP FI solving if possible, in line with defined processes, SOPs, KPI’s and according to knowledge articles and work instructions and escalating to Process Owner Team / IT teams / 3rd line / Vendor support if necessary 
• Providing in-depth knowledge about optimal use of Lundbeck Finance and Procurement systems including technical understanding of the platform, data structure and integrations
• Supporting activities related to finance yearly cycle (month/quarter/year end close, quarterly estimates, budgeting process) 
• Responsible for the analysis, verification and documentation of standard RfC (Request for Change) 
• Creating and providing support for financial (Accounting to Reporting, Controlling, Financial and tax reporting) including data extracts for audit purposes, identifying opportunities for new catalogues or updates of existing ones 
• Contributing to identifying and driving the implementation of any improvements that help maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of support activities, in collaboration with Global Process Owner and Transformation Team 
• Participates in Projects related to relevant areas of expertise, including supporting system implementation, system upgrades and changes within BI, BW, Ariba, VIM etc., acting as System Expert

• 3 + years of experience in overall finance experience combined accounting and finance (GL, AP, AR, O2C and/or procurement system support 
• Knowledge of International Accounting Standards and Taxation, in preparing financial statements under IFRS and local standard, experience in financial controlling would be a huge asset
• In depth knowledge of SAP modules (FI, BI/BW e.g. AfO, BPC), including working knowledge of VIM (or other invoice management system)
• Knowledge if IT Service Management principles is a plus 
• English: C1 
• Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of data analysis and communications tools including Excel and Power Point 
• Finance or IT university degree or relevant professional experience 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
• Mature attitude towards challenges and problem solving - being able to work with limited guidance and able to determine information needed to resolve more complex issues, manage pressure effectively and cope well with setbacks 
• Being able to work to tight deadlines and with switching priorities 
• Proactive and creative in terms of improving ways of working 
• Self-starter, curious and passionate 
• Ability and desire to translate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels including finance and non-finance managers 
• Finds it easy to work in a very dynamic environment
