Scala Developer

You will be a good match if you have:

Around 3 years of experience with Scala
Experience with NoSQL databases like: HBase, Cassandra
Experience with Apache Spark
Good knowledge of Big Data querying tools, such as Pig, Hive, and Impala
Fluent English language skills

You get extra points for:

Understanding of financials industry and its data
Interesting in Big Data solutions

As a part of our team, you will be responsible for:

Development of high-performance Big Data solutions in the Finance space
Cooperating with Data Scientists on implementation of solutions in our Big Data stack
Providing input into the high-level solution designed to achieve cost-effective and high performance result using distributed file systems and storage technologies (HDFS, HBase) and data analytic platforms and compute environments (Spark)
