Key Responsibilities
Solutions Architect/BA within the Data Protection and Application Security organization work on a wide variety of tasks and activities that are closely aligned with the bank's strategic programs.
- Acting as a liaison with other Credit Suisse team to elicit their security requirements for Data Protection and Application Security Products
- Identifying gaps and deficiencies in the Bank's security landscape and working with other architecture functions on defining strategy to address them.
- Working alongside product management to help define and shape the product and service strategy. Acting as the voice of the customer within the solution design process
- Converting requirements into the business cases, translate it into architecture and design for solutions providing IT security infrastructure.
- Design technical blueprints for the solution based on requirements from various stakeholders including: Business Customers, Compliance, Risk, IT Security and IT Architecture.
- Ensuring that individual security solutions form an effective, holistic security mechanism.
- Documenting the conceptual, physical and logical configuration of vendor products, in-house solutions and other technical components with necessary and sufficient detail.
- Working with engineering leads, SMEs and external parties ensuring product and service are designed inline with security architectural guiding principles, Bank's control environment and industry best practices.
- Partial engagement in engineering tasks in the above specified areas.
It is expected that in this role person will partially engage into business analyst tasks in the same subject matter area - especially with DLP related projects.
Independent cooperation with vendors and internal development/deployment teams. It is expected that provided architecture and designs guarantee that cost effective approach and highest standards for security are kept within all engagements.
Participation and leading RFI/RFP processes, questioning propositions and ensuring they are aligned to highest market standards.
Close cooperation with Product Management.
Solutions needs to be in sync with existing infrastructure and strategy. For that purpose close cooperation with other business analysis, project management and architectural functions is crucial as well as knowledge of existing systems and other development initiatives. Ensuring that requirements of all stakeholders are actively managed and that the solution under design addresses real demand.
Working in virtual teams environments across 2 time zones. Supporting many projects simultaneously.
Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
- Overall 7+ years of experience which span one or more IT disciplines like: designing, business analysis, IT security and/or development of software or infrastructure in the relevant areas
- Overall 4+ years of experience in a role dedicated to architecting/business analysis/implementing solutions utilizing recognized design and architecture patterns and industry standards
- Excellent knowledge of Data/Application/Cloud Security concepts and the IT Security Domain
- Confident, assertive and effective communicator with strong influencing skills
- Able to target material and communication to a wide range of audiences at all levels in the organization.
- Fluent written and spoken English
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- IIBA Certification (CCBA, CBAP) or equivalent
- Experience in financial sector will be an additional asset
- Experience and good knowledge of global jurisdictional practices/financial regulators requirements
- Security certification is an advantage: CISSP, CISA, CSSLP, TOGAF
- Experience with following products/vendors: Symantec DLP, IQP Secure Islands/MS RMS, Skyhigh, MS PKI
Design and delivery of the key products and services related to information security. This includes data leakage prevention, cloud (security, IAM, CASB), information right management, public key infrastructure (certificate management solutions) and HSM.
