Security Engineer – On-boarding Consultant

Responsibilites
- Build strong relationships with the internal clients of Security Technology including operational risk managers, business applications owners, IT architects and senior IT developers
- Provide concise overviews of Security products and services, in both verbal and written forms, and draw high-level architecture diagrams and provide supporting documentation where necessary
- Act as a facilitator between Security technical specialists and internal clients ensuring that client focus is maintained
- Provide feedback to the Security Engineering team to help improve future products and services
- Provide concise overviews of IdM products and services, in both verbal and written forms, and draw high-level architecture diagrams and provide supporting documentation where necessary
- Develop education and training materials to promote the adoption of IdM solutions in-line with the firms IT operational risk objectives, such as documents, slides and web materials
- Act as a facilitator between IdM technical specialists and internal clients ensuring that client focus is maintained
Requirements
Strong knowledge, expertise and hands on experience in:
- Java, JEE, developing modules of a security tool in SSO (Single Sign On), Cross domain and Cross organisation Federation, Identity Management Provisioning
- IDM products such as CA SiteMinder, SUN IDM, SAILPOINT
- SOAP based web service
- Rich and thick client solution for authentication e.g SOA, WS-Trust, Restful webservices
- LDAP (OID, ODSEE, AD)
- Webservers - Apache, IHS, IIS, Tomcat, WebSphere,
- UNIX (Solaris, Linux) command-line and scripting, CURL
- Implementation of 2 Factor Authentication (smart card)
- Web-based technologies including web server configuration, HTTP, SSL/TLS, X.509 certificates, proxies, loadbalancing, caching, cookies etc.
Nice to have:
- Familiar with financial industry and audit requirements with respect to identity and access management
- Knowledge of application-level security
- Software development experience, CURL
- Good understanding of Client Server architecture of applications
- Understand existing and forthcoming security technology consulting services from both a business and technical perspective
- Experience in integration of Federation of identity among various service providers

The candidate will be an expert in Web and application security technologies from security point of view, e.g. authentication, authorization, provisioning, workflow, related threats, potential attacks involved in a large banking organisation.
