Department Overview
Protecting mission-critical systems around the globe and providing expertise and support in using and troubleshooting DIMETRA cybersecurity products and services to public safety agencies, governments and military organizations is what stands for Cybersecurity Services mission. The team based in Krakow is responsible for testing and delivery of security patches for Anti-Virus, Operating Systems and Intrusion Detection/Prevention products for Motorola Solutions DIMETRA systems, vulnerability management for those systems as well as for maintaining the vetting lab where all the updates are applied and tested on before they are released to the customers. Cybersecurity Services EMEA & APAC is also the escalation point for Technical Support Operations EMEA & APAC for cybersecurity-related customer cases and all of the team members are SME’s (Subject Matter Experts) for the cybersecurity products used on DIMETRA systems. The team also collaborates with other teams inside and outside of CMSO organization in order to achieve business goals and maintain world class service delivery.
Job Description
Basic Requirements:
- Knowledge of TCP/IP stack and related concepts (VLAN, DHCP, DNS, FTP, SSH etc.)
- Knowledge of testing methodologies
- Basic knowledge of operating systems (UNIX/Linux, Windows)
- Basic knowledge of virtualization concepts
- Ability to work under pressure of time and within tight delivery schedules
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to the changing environment
- Good command of English (written and spoken)
- Previous experience with Atlassian software development and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket)
