- Determines operational feasibility of security solutions by evaluating analysis, problem definition,
requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions
- Documents and demonstrates security solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts,
layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
- Prepares and installs security solutions by determining and designing system specifications,
standards, and programming
- Improves operations of security solutions by conducting systems analysis and recommends
changes in policies and procedures
- Supports the evaluation of different solutions and vendors; recommends purchases; testing and
approving products
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering,
Math, Physics or a technical field
- Over five years' experience in an IT role, with a strong focus on information security/data
protection
Certified in SSCP® - Systems Security Certified Practitioner or equivalent
Understands the cyber threat landscape that financial institutions currently face
Demonstrates proficient knowledge and utilization of security tools (i.e SIEM tools, Firewalls,
Network monitoring and protection, Anti-Malware technologies)
- Preferable knowledge and experience of FireEye, Mandiant, Network Scanning, Hardoop or
Splunk
High competence in object oriented analysis, design and programming
Strong proficiency in Software Architecture
In depth understanding of design patterns, testing and code quality
Team player with excellent coordination and communication skills, and experience working within
complex international organisations
