Job Description
- Determines operational feasibility of security solutions by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
- Documents and demonstrates security solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
- Prepares and installs security solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
- Improves operations of security solutions by conducting systems analysis and recommends changes in policies and procedures.
- Supports the evaluation of different solutions and vendors; recommends purchases; testing and approving products.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Math, Physics or a technical field.
- Over five years' experience in an IT role, with a strong focus on information security/data protection.
- Understands the cyber threat landscape that financial institutions currently face.
- Demonstrates proficient knowledge and utilization of security tools (i.e SIEM tools, Firewalls, Network monitoring and protection, Anti-Malware technologies).
- Preferable knowledge and experience of FireEye, Mandiant, Network Scanning, Hardoop or Splunk.
- High competence in object oriented analysis, design and programming.
- Strong proficiency in Software Architecture.
- In depth understanding of design patterns, testing and code quality.
- Team player with excellent coordination and communication skills, and experience working within complex international organisations.
- Pro-active and self-driven to overcome challenges, achieve results and deliver to deadlines.
