Senior BigData/Scala Developer

Responsibilites
Successful candidates will have:
- Ability to design, build and maintain applications in an Agile as well as Waterfall environments.
- Ability to liaise with Business Analysis to support the requirements engineering process as well as conduct effort estimates for the respective project's engineering, testing and integration tasks.
- Excellent technical and interpersonal skills:
- You will be able to understand our partners' requirements and quickly resolve any potential issue both in the project as well as in the productive environment.
- You will be able to communicate to and influence stakeholders.
- 5+ years' experience in similar positions.
- A proven track record in a similar environment:
- Delivering software solutions to demanding product owners, being part of a large and (possibly) distributed team.
- e2e software development lifecycle with focus on the integration of 3rd party components.
- Incident management, problem analysis in a complex environment with remote, multi-tiered installations.
Requirements
We recruit 'generalizing specialists' who are experienced experts in these core technology areas and users of, or would like to learn, the other technologies. For this position we are looking for an expert experienced in functional programming languages (like Scala).
