- Analyze already existing Windows10 build, propose changes and performance improvements
- Design and engineer process for Windows functional/security updates
- Integrate new Hardware/Software and configuration
- Engage with vendors to resolve problems
- Propose and Build solutions to technical challenges
- Take part in proof of Concepts and design solutions to fill any gaps in vendor products
- Perform root cause analysis on incident and problem tickets (4th level)
- Document solutions and create documentation.
Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
Extensive Windows Client engineering and deployment experience (Windows build, SCCM Task Sequence, MDT)
Very good understanding of Windows7/10 (as well Windows Server) Operating Systems and its architecture
Experience of Windows Performance Analysis Tools and Windows Monitoring tools
Troubleshooting Skills (Root Cause Analysis, Problem Management) and Tools (SysInternals, GPO)
- Outstanding automation skills (PowerShell Scripting) and knowledge of programming
- Knowledge of packaging software installation
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Windows Server Solution, Integrator & Network Engineering Experience, experience from IT bank industry
This role is for a Senior Desktop Build Engineer who will join highly skilled Global Client Engineering team.
Our role is to design and build the Windows Client platform that is used by all of the Bank employees worldwide.
The team is responsible for the configuration, security and maintenance of the Windows Client platform on physical laptops, desktops, virtualized systems but as well Thin Clients.
The team is spread across the world, the main locations are: Poland, Switzerland and USA. In total 15 engineering including on-site Miscrosoft engineer.
