The Problem Manager will be responsible for supporting the management of problems, executing problem management processes and procedures consistently and with a focus on accuracy and high quality. The Problem Manager will also have the ability to conduct root cause and thematic analysis of problem data, manage and fulfill regional stakeholder requirements and promote continual service improvement across the team.
The Problem Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting project initiatives to improve the execution of Problem Management in the bank. This will include requirements gathering, definition of specifications for development, documentation of relevant operational processes including process flows and the creation of project communication and training documentation. The role must be able to perform under tight project schedules.
- At least five years' experience in execution or support of an IT operational role or minimum 2 years as service manager or problem manager
- Problem Management experience within an ITIL environment
- Operational process improvement project experience
- Experience in documenting project and process documentation
- Degree educated or equivalent
- Analytical mindset
- Strong communication and networking skills
- Process-focused
- Proactive

- ITIL Foundation Certified
- ITIL Intermediate or higher certified in one or more Service Operation processes
- Experience with ServiceNow
- Financial services or other regulated industry experience
