Senior Business Analyst with Java skills

Responsibilites
- Work with stakeholders, users, technical architect, and functional designers to define the data requirements and structure for the application
- Model and design the application data structure, storage, and integration
- Lead the database analysis, design, and build effort
- Work with the integration solution architects and designers to design the integration solution
- Ensure that the database designs fulfil the requirements (data volume, frequency needs, and long-term data growth)
- Assist in determining the cross-application data standards, data distribution standards, and tuning strategies
- Work with the technical architects and functional designers to understand the data conversion requirements fully and to design the conversion procedures and applications
- Review the database deliverables throughout development to ensure quality and traceability to requirements and adherence to all quality management plans and standards
- Ensure that the developers and database administrators responsible for developing the database thoroughly understand the requirements and designs
- Work with other architects to ensure that all components work together to meet objectives and performance goals as defined in the requirements. Identify and communicate any cross-area or cross-release issues that may affect other areas of the project
- Support the development and test teams with the creation of test data. Ensure test data conforms to data security requirements
- Participate in quality management reviews as outlined in the Quality Management practice
- Ensure client data protection guidelines are followed for sensitive personal data in accordance to Accenture's Client Data Protection program
- Consider the data backup and replication requirements as part of the BCM for the application
- Work with customers and security architect to identify the access control and identity requirements for the application
- Ensure security in reporting and data warehousing.
Requirements
Mandatory skills:
- Solid experience as Business Analyst/Data Architect in IT projects in (preferably in financial industry)
- Experience or good knowledge of Java technologies
- SQL/Oracle
- Knowledge of Enterprise Architect would be a great advantage
- Independent, systematic and structured approach and way of working
- Professional documentation skills: generating of detailed software requirement specifications/product documentations (e.g. UML/ use case modeling, ..)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Proactive acting and dedicated commitment as well as excellent organizational skills and keen perception
- Readiness of mind and distinct willingness to learn
- High awareness of quality and deadlines
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Leadership and sovereignty even in hectic situation
- Ability to travel
- A very good command of English
Optional skills:
- Banking knowledge and financial products (like equities, bonds, structured products, )
- Knowledge on cross-border compliance, regulatory requirements
- Experience in building up successful teams across different locations
- IREB / IIBA certifications
- Basic level in German
