Senior Business Analyst

Responsibilites
Principal tasks are to:
- Encourage and facilitate communication between teams including Business, Platform, Support, Change Management, peer IT Analysts and Developers.
- Provide developers and testers with detailed specifications, which address the business objectives of the project.
Specific Tasks/Responsibilities:
- Understand and document current application and process flows within the structured products domain.
- Identify and document changes to the application/process flows that will be necessary to support business requirements for change projects.
- Present Specifications to the Development Team and resolve queries raised by them.
- Review Designs produced by the Development team, to verify requirements coverage.
- Review and provide input into the test scripts and test cases.
- Identify and Resolve Issues as a result of testing.
- Use Excel effectively to manipulate and present data.
- Working to improve the analysis processes within the project.
Requirements
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Experience with RE tools such as JIRA, Wiki, Mockup tools, UML.
- Knowledge of software development methods (TSQL knowhow is a bonus, .Net as well).
- Basic level of business knowledge is required.
- Strong analytical, problem solving skills and structured working methods.
- Good Stakeholder management is a must.
- Ability to understand the asset classes and their basic characteristics, understand the investment management value creation chain.
- Has experience working with agile development teams.
- Quick Learner who is able to pick up concepts and data flows quickly.
- Good team player with effective elicitation skills.
- Proactive and solution driven personality with strong communication skills. Able to clearly document and transfer knowledge to development/business in simple terms.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Nice to have:
- German.
- Testing experience.
