The Business Analysis Team within the above-mentioned Accounting Solutions unit is responsible for requirements engineering, solution design and specification, functional testing and production support. The business analyst has the following duties:
- Consult and support our business partners in accounting and controlling at specific locations
- Participate in and lead working groups and workshops
- Requirements engineering and management: identify, elicit, analyze and prioritize requirements
- Model and design solution alternatives, evaluate solution proposals under consideration of architectural standards, IT strategy and company's standards and constraints
- Agree the solution with the stakeholder, specify the solution details and support development staff during construction
- Test the software and ensure software quality
- Provide post-implementation and production support
- Fluent English (written and spoken). German is highly appreciated, but not mandatory
- At least three years' professional experience in an international banking / IT and/or an accounting resp. risk environment
- Profound banking knowhow and/or financial and management accounting know-how
- Relevant experience in requirements engineering, process modelling (UML) and data modelling
- The ability to analyse complex systems; strong analytical and conceptual skills, quality awareness
- Understanding of business architecture
- Familiarity with highly complex database environment
- Excellent database (SQL, Oracle) and data warehousing knowledge
- University degree in Business administration / computer science is essential
- Necessary strong technical skills, especially: DB, DWH, BA skills related to Data modelling

The project is about a high-volume, high-performance strategic platform for controlling and accounting purposes specific to Wealth Management units. In addition, the application consists of a common sourcing layer for Finance and Risk. This highly complex environment is maintained and enhanced by teams of business analysts and developers located in Zurich, Nashville US & India.
An open position is available for a Business Analyst to analyze new requirements from all different locations and to design effective solution alternatives.
