Senior Business Analyst

Responsibilites
- Work with our client's stakeholders / analysts to produce business and functional requirements that will be implemented offshore.
- Take part in kick-off and initial business analysis of new projects.
- Be proactive and foresee project perspective from business point of view.
- Be nice and build a good relationship with business users and on-site/off-site teams.
- Ensure that requirements are understood by development team, check requirements completion during all phases of development.
- Be responsible for the overall product quality from a business user perspective.
- Assist a project manager in explaining to the client why some task is required to be done and why it takes estimated time.
Requirements
Must have:
- Extensive professional experience in business and functional analysis
- Good skills comprising demonstrable experience of all aspects of analysis including creating of process documentation and diagrams, UML understanding
- IT background
- Experience in working with foreign customers
- Fluent English, with demonstrable skills in both verbal and written English
- Excellent communication skills demonstrating a proactive approach at all levels with both the client and the team
Nice to have:
- Investment banking and financial markets background
- Agile background
- Web applications experience
- Good knowledge in SQL
- German language

Our team provides end to end application delivery, from business analysis to production, for both "green field" projects and functional migration services (developing from scratch new applications based on legacy ones which are planned to retire). Current team size 50+ people structured in agile sub-teams 7-9 people each. Delivery methodology is SCRUM. Our client is a specialized domain in the bank which uses its expertise in risk management and provides other units and their financial clients with bespoke solutions to implement best practice risk management methodologies, structures, processes and systems, and deliver effective asset servicing solutions etc.
