Project Description:
It is a 3 years project which incorporates various domains and executions phases. Our goal is to migrate a very extensive and complex solution from current implementation to Cloud environment. We are responsible for data and code migration, taking care for efficiency and performance.
New architecture model requires a very in-depth analysis and proficiency in various software development domains.
Responsibilities
- Interact with clients and other resources to elicit business requirements and specifications and manage the prioritization of analytics (intake process)
- Reengineer /re-platform the legacy applications into cloud platforms
- Data wrangling
- Interpret customer/business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements (Extract-Transform-Load processes)
- Proficiency in understanding data models, schema Objects, database architecture
- Develop, Maintain and Document ETL processes, design and architecture details
- Strong Hands-on experience in using ETL tools /Job scheduling
- Design, code, test, document and implement application release projects as part of development team.
- Suggest performance tuning of ETL processes and recommend necessary architecture & design improvements.
- Proactively notify Development Project Manager of risks, bottlenecks, problems, issues, and concerns.
- Work with BA and understand all functional and technical requirements of the project.
- Ability to identify system & project impediments, suggest appropriate solution.
- Working knowledge on relational database - ability to optimize, analyze, and improve database SQL performance on any platform
- Support ETL developers by providing technical assistance, troubleshooting & alternative development solutions.
