Senior C# Developer

Responsibilites
Principal tasks are to:
- Encourage and facilitate communications between teams including Business Change Management, peer IT Analysts and Developers.
- Provide developers, database designers and testers with detailed specifications, which address the business objectives of the project.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Understand and document current application flows within the architecture.
- Identify and document changes to the application flows that will be necessary to support business requirements for the project.
- Present Specifications to the Development Team and resolve queries raised by them.
- Review Designs produced by the Development team, to verify requirements coverage.
- Review and provide input into the test scripts and test cases.
- Identify and Resolve Issues as a result of testing.
- Query Database using SQL.
- Use Excel effectively to manipulate and present data.
- Working to improve the analysis processes within the project
Requirements
Key Qualifications:
- C#, .NET
- Object oriented design and programming, design patterns
- Web services
- Automatic testing (unit, integration, acceptance tests etc.)
MSSQL *WPF *WCF
Basic level of business knowledge is required.
o Ability to understand the asset classes and their basic characteristics;
o Understand the investment management value creation chain.
- Experience working with agile development teams.
- Experience with RE tools such as JIRA, Wiki, and Mockup tools (e.g. Balsamiq).
- Experience with Architect tools such as Enterprise Architect is a plus.
- Proactive and solution driven personality with strong communication skills.
- Able to clearly document and transfer knowledge to development/business in simple terms.
- Good Stakeholder management.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of software development methods (TSQL knowhow is a bonus as is .Net)
- Testing experience would be a plus
- Fluent written and spoken English; German will be nice to have
