Senior C++ Developer

The product consists of three different technologies:

• C++ - server and thick client
• Java - applet as plugin to web browser and FTP Voyager JV which is browser initiated thick client written in Java
• JavaScript and ExtJS - UI of the thin client

Release plans

• The new functionality releases and service releases with bug fixes are alternating.
• The product will be developed in the future, no plans of making it end of life any time soon

The candidate should possess knowledge / experience of:

• Object oriented C++
• Cross platform experience (mostly the same code base for Windows & Linux)
• Multi-threaded experience
• Event based programming
• Socket programming experience (especially at a low level)
• Knowledge of FTP, SFTP, and HTTP at the protocol level
• Very comfortable with complex macros
• Comfortable with a proprietary XML RPC style protocol
• OpenSSL
• SQLite
• MFC and the Ribbon classes in MFC
• Microsoft Visual Studio
• Beneficial if has at least working knowledge of most front-end developer skills
• Good communication skills
• Fluent English
