Avid is currently seeking a talented ColdFusion Developer/Programmer with .NET and Linux environment experience to join customer facing application development team.

Roles and responsibilities include
- Perform programming services using ColdFusion
- Perform programming services using .NET
- Test and correct programs
- Apply standard programming procedures
- Troubleshooting, debugging, proofing, and testing code
- Comfortable in a team environment or working independently.
Experience
- Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university, preferably with a computer science or related degree.
- 7+ years’ experience professional experience working as a Senior Applications Developer or Senior Web Engineer
- Experience in designing, developing, modifying and supporting ColdFusion applications.
- Experience in designing, developing, modifying and supporting .NET applications.
- Hands on experience working in Linuix environment
- Experience in developing stored procedures, writing efficient SQL queries in ORACLE.
- Technical Skills and Knowledge:
- Proficiency with ColdFusion, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and appropriate development tools.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle relational databases.
- Comfortable working with Linux OS.
- Experience writing and deciphering complex SQL queries.
- Good understanding of object oriented programming.
- Working knowledge of SVN source control tool.
Desirable Technical Knowledge
- HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, XML, XSLT, AJAX, JSON, C#
- Non-Technical Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to effectively communicate both technical and non-technical topics orally and in writing.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with both technical and non-technical staff.
