Main responsibilities include:
Work very closely with delivery leads to prepare test plans, sample test data and maintain release notes
Deploying components and maintain environment in a continuous running state
Schedule batch jobs and run batch simulation cycles based on test plan
Track & trouble shoot defects, build and maintain testing automation scripts
Publish summary reports at end of each cycle
Develop tools to build and automate high quality unit test cases and work toward reducing number of defects caught in Function/UAT
Provide support and help oversee batch cycle simulations in other Dev-managed environments, e.g. Performance Test environment
At times candidate may need to work flexible hours to engage with other global IT teams in Singapore, London & New York.
Essential Skills:
5+ years of experience as Software Developer
Extensive knowledge of Informatica
Experience in running batches via job scheduler (e.g. Control M)
Deep expertise in writing PL SQLs in Oracle and ETL tools
Strong knowledge of UNIX, shell and perl scripts
University degree level (preferably in IT or Finance)
Additional Experience (Good to Have):
Good knowledge of DB modeling
Knowledge of JIRA/Quality Center
Strong analytical problem solving skills and Decision-Making
Experience with Agile development methodology
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Willingness to learn, and to innovate in a rapidly changing market
Ledger system receives over 200+ feeds from many upstream systems and processes over 40 Million records every day and across 3 regions. It also supports adjustment functionality using which product controls post Journals to fix upstream DQ issues. Project aims to run this production like batch in a test environment with a scaled down sample record set and cover all use cases.
