Our Client is currently looking for candidate to fill the position of a Senior Distributed Systems Engineer. You will be responsible for designing and implementing medium to large physical and virtual environments (>50 nodes) and distributed system monitoring. Your daily duties will include designing, implementing and supporting big data clusters. This job is for you if you desire to automate solutions to common problems or issues encountered.
- Experience as Linux Sys Admin supporting CentOS and/or RHEL (min. 5 years)
- Experience in supporting kernel or package development
- Very good knowledge of rpm building and distribution strategies
- Thorough experience in tuning, patching, upgrading large distributed environments
