- Work closely and effectively with other IT teams and where required business users in the Bank
- Analyse business requirements, document, develop and test software to meet those requirements or fix defects in existing software
- Performing unit and integration tests of software components, in accordance with published standards
- Manage, perform and support software releases
- Contribute to defining team standards including code standards, toolsets and quality.
- Communicate effectively with other members of the IT community and participate in department initiatives
- Make key technical decisions in partnership with the team and influence the overall technical design
- Ownership of application documentation
- 5 + years Experience with reporting tools /languages: Informatica, SQL, SQL Loader, Business Objects, Assentis
- Strong Experience with Oracle and Sybase databases, Solution and Design, Data Modelling, Data Analysis, Performance and Tuning and developing tables, stored procedures, functions, packages, views, triggers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work as part of a global team
- Experience in Financial Services, preferably with a background in private banking.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with IT colleagues across multiple cultures
Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Must be able to communicate effectively with other development team members, project members, managers and end users
- Must be able to participate in the discussions within the team, communicating any issues that have a project-wide scope to the necessary level
- Must be able to build relationships and work closely with our development, QA and Support colleagues around the globe
- Must be able to participate in a culture of 'knowledge sharing' with the development team
- Sharing best practices with other teams across the client’s organization.
The Solution Delivery (SD) is accountable and responsible for project deliveries concerning Wealth Management for top-tier Swiss Bank. SD ensures efficiency and quality of delivery - the right skills in the right place -establishes methodologies, processes and tools into the organization.
As methodology we apply Rational Unified Process (RUP) by IBM and Agile/ Scrum adapted to the Client's environment. We document solutions with UML-Models in Enterprise Architect and Word Specifications.
