Senior ETL Specialist/ Team Leader

Job Description:
- Perform code reviews and share best practices with colleagues
- Assisting with review and offer suggestions for enhancements to existing solutions
- Analyze root-causes in case of incidents and provide solutions for solving the problem
- 3rd level support to ensure the smooth running of ETL systems and quick recovery
- Lead data developers team
- Developing and fixing defects in existing software to meet the client's requirements
- Monitoring and analyzing the performance of ETL processes and propose improvements
- Supporting software releases
Main Skills:
- Hands-on experience in one or more of ETL integration platforms (IBM DataStage is a plus)
- 3-5 years of experience in data integration
- SQL and database concepts experience
- Understanding of ETL and Data Warehousing techniques and patterns
- Experience in using Unix/Linux operating systems and shell/bash scripting
- Experience in application support activities
- Possesses excellent communication (written and oral) skills in English
Nice to have skills:
- Needs to be very proactive and goal oriented
- Participation in Data Warehouse projects or design ETL processes will be an asset
- Knowledge of ITIL processes is a plus
- Flexibility to work in shifts for 3-5 days in a month
