For our Client, a leading multi-line insurer head-quartered in Switzerland, which opened a shared service centre for Finance in Krakow, we are now looking for a professional, who is able to take a position of Senior Finance Accounting and Reporting Specialist. Senior Finance Accounting and Reporting Specialist will calculate and perform general ledger bookings and account reconciliation (e.g. provisions, calculate deferred income tax, accruals, pre-payments), perform intercompany reconciliation and postings and perform various closing activities e.g. maintain interfaces to Sub ledger as an option: revaluation, regrouping and cost allocation cycles (depends on BU). On this position you will also support or collaborate in various projects such as the analysis and implementation of Group Chart of Accounts changes, provide group and external reporting (BS, P&L, Supplementary information to financial statement – according IFRS, Solvency optional Irish and other regulatory GAAP). The Senior Finance Accounting and Reporting Specialist will be responsible for maintain contact with various stakeholders e.g. FAR Controllers, Actuaries, Local Accountants and execute controls within SOX framework.
The Desired Candidate should have university degree in finance/economics/accounting, at least 4 years of relevant accounting experience. Professional requirements include analytical skills, passion for detail, reliability, “can do” attitude, goals driven, flexibility. Proficient English language is a must.
