We are looking for
Experienced finance practitioner responsible for management of key finance activities and deliverables within specific Finance Disciplines, often including team leadership of dedicated team of people, depending on nature of the role and local organizational structure, although referring hiring and termination decisions to a Finance Manager level. Technically competent and experienced with depth of expertise gained through professional accounting or other finance qualification, and/or by extensive, demonstrable experience in particular area of accounting or financial management.
Responsible for defining operational activities and priorities to align with achievement of Company and/or Finance objectives. Capable of designing and implementing strategies to help achieve business, corporate or risk management objectives within the scope of the corporate policy and control framework. Experienced decision-maker providing decision support to senior management; professional accounting, reporting and analysis services, business and sales support, policy compliance and/or risk management.
Capable of overseeing a team of people’s day to day activities, as required, in line with established corporate standards and to promote effective teamwork, employee engagement and enablement initiatives and drive operational performance against agreed objectives.

- Complexity: This role would be expected to effectively manage established finance activities, ensuring internal control and policy compliance, and to support management through provision of relevant business information and analysis, advice and guidance. Capable of applying technical knowledge and expertise to effectively resolve process issues, evaluate scenarios and manage specific assignments for process change or improvements, or to deliver information and recommendations for informed decision-making.
A role with this profile could be expected to manage finance activities across the full breadth of Disciplines within the Finance Community, depending on specific experience and expertise; including Financial Accounting (General Ledger Accounting, Project/Contract Accounting, Statutory Accounting and Consolidation, Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Managers), Business Controllers and Corporate Reporting Managers; Financial Engineers and Business Partnering consultants supporting Sales and Business Lines; and Tax and Treasury Managers.
- Business impact: This role has responsibility for managing key finance processes, leading and coordinating teams to successfully achieve financial and operational objectives, business process compliance, risk management and provision of reliable and accurate management information. As an experienced finance practitioner this role is expected to exercise sound judgement in decision-making and selection of appropriate accounting policies, assumptions and strategies, where necessary, to positively influence business outcomes.
- Problem-solving: Expected to be capable of drawing on experience and technical expertise to address and resolve reasonably complex operational problems or to identify when information or recommendations should be shared with senior management for further consideration, taking into account any significant business impacts or financial risks.
- Experience and expertise: Experienced finance professional (+5 years in finance analysis and management accounting), with range of technical skills (advanced MS Excel must have, VBA and Power Query good to have), such as financial analysis, financial risk management, financial modelling, corporate accounting and reporting; as well personal skills such as performance management, organizational effectiveness and leadership. Providing valuable support, advice and guidance to more senior management and other decision-makers and capable of demonstrating range of management skills (Finance Business Partner experience). Expected to be a qualified accountant or other relevant finance qualification, or qualified by experience through demonstrable technical knowledge and expertise.
