Senior Finance Systems Deployment Lead

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and project manage single/multiple country implementations in parallel from planning, initiation through to deployment
- Deployment delivery management for the Workday Financials/PSA Solutions.
- Provide strategic input and guidance on implementation methodology to drive refinement and continuous improvement of the overall delivery
- Drive a consistent implementation playbook and adhere to global design where feasible
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communications to ensure global design is followed, project scope is managed, budgets and implementation timelines are upheld.
- Manage all stakeholder relationships including, country CFO’S, country controllers and senior business executives
- Provide guidance and project health updates to the PMO and senior sponsors
- Responsible for planning, coordination and execution of all project phases
- Drive Issue resolution, decision making and communication/acceptance
- Provide project support to country champions and to additional in country resources throughout the lifecycle to ensure country execution / adherence to plans.
- Provide 1st line post Go Live Support
- Transition countries from project support to BAU during the stabilisation period
- Role requires frequent interaction with global based project resources.
- International Travel will be needed as required (approximately 30%)
Knowledge & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 year’s relevant work experience in an area of Financial Deployment Role, with a focus on Financial Systems and Organizational Transitions. Consulting and/or Project Management background preferred.
- Workday Financials or Other Financial Application Experience.
- Strong presentation skills; excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Accuracy, thoroughness and strong attention to detail with a focus on Execution.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to develop and sustain relationships in an international context / across time zones.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task with outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to use sound business judgment and make decisions.
