Department Description
Motorola Solutions Finance Operation Center is a department of Motorola in Kraków which gives you an opportunity to participate in a setup of the new organization. The center is a part of our global network of Finance Operation Centers (FOC) which provides world-class finance, accounting and purchasing services to Motorola branches in Europe, Middle East, Africa and US region. It is a dynamic environment where your ideas and input will be valued and where you will do some of the best work of your life.
Person in this role will overlook P&L for one of MSI technologies within EMEA region. Analyst on this role will have to quickly understand existing process and address any gaps. The person will be responsible for:
- Preparing the summary of actuals for sales, units, direct cost and gross margin for the technology
- Prepare and present business bridge in EMEA P&L sign off call explaining variances to actual results
- Review the contribution margin inputs from pre-sales controllers
- Prepare quarterly business outlook for sales and contribution margin
- Participate in sales team outlook calls to understand impact to quarterly results
- Create monthly reporting package for the technology for EMEA Finance review
- Prepare and present the Quarterly Average Sales Price and Cost Per Unit analysis to Senior Management
- Reviewing the Plan and Forecast overhead cost (Cost Of Poor Quality, Freight, Labor, Fixed Cost) for technology
- Ensuring Plan, Forecast, and actual units for technology are loaded and are reasonable
- University degree in finance or accounting
- At least 3 years of demonstrable finance/accounting experience
- Excellent Excel skills
- Ability to work under time pressure
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills, able to interact with Finance people at various levels
- Ability to learn new IT systems and applications quickly
- Good command of English
