As a Senior Developer you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that is responsible for helping to architect and develop an interface to display, manage and localize large amounts of e-commerce listings. You will be working as part of an agile environment, supported by the scrum methodology.
- Participate in the full lifecycle of each application, including: collecting requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and performance tuning
- Help with architecture-level design decisions during various phases of a project
- Ensure implementation of software best practices and processes
- Provide mentorship, development guidance and assistance to other developers
- Advise product managers where technical guidance is required
- Work with our designer and backend developers to implement and maintain the HTML, CSS, and JS front end of Webinterpret web application
- Propose and implement changes to improve user experience
- 4+ Years experience as a Front End Engineer
- Knows how to define and setup architecture for a project
- Has strong analytical and technical skills to identify critical and impacting issues
- Expert knowledge of standards compliant front-end development and accessibility best practices
- Experienced with the challenges of building large scale JavaScript web applications
- Contributor to OR consumer of Open Source frameworks
- Has the ability to work closely and iteratively with UX Designers
- Expert knowledge of cross-browser/cross-platform issues, DOM and web standards
- Experience working in an Agile development environment on multiple projects
- Excellent attention to detail
- Pixel perfect interpretation of designs into HTML & CSS
- Understanding of git branching and merging flows
- Good knowledge of English
- Knowledge of e-commerce platform (e.g. Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento)
- Experience working in an Agile environment
