Senior Full Stack .Net Developer

This position is a dedicated and experienced software engineering and support role. The position will be part of a developer service team that will work collaboratively with business users to provide application software enhancements supporting Finance (accounting, accounts payable, financial reporting, audit),Human Resources, Payroll, and Operations (securities processing, settlement, cash management).

Business applications supported by this group will include real-time payment and supplier management processing, complex and multi-national financial accounting reporting and transaction automation, high volume trade processing and prime broker reconciliations, trade affirmation venue integration, profit and loss statements, investor and fund accounting, and employee / payroll reporting and processing cycles.

This role is responsible for delivering new business capabilities, system upgrades and new features supporting resiliency and capacity improvements, automation and controls enhancements, and integration with internal and external financial vendors and services. Assist production operations with escalated troubleshooting needs to resolve production system incidents.

• Understand and translate business requirements into technical design specifications
• Identify technology solutions for enhancements or new initiatives
• Develop new applications / software solutions using test-driven and agile software development methodologies
• Participate in identifying new technologies and methodologies to continuously improve software systems
• Implement DevOps practices within the team and projects.
• Provide Tier-4 production application support to diagnose and resolve elevated application software production incidents and implement proactive remediation measures.

• Minimum 8 years object programming experience working with C#/.NET, WCF, window service, and knowledgeable of web services protocols (REST, SOAP).
• Significant experience working with database design and development, MS SQL-Server and T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS.
• Minimum 4 Years of experience in coding JavaScript applications with in-depth knowledge of JavaScript ES6, HTML5 and CSS3
• At least 1 year of experience in ReactJS / Redux and/or overall very good experience working on one of the MVC/MVVM Frameworks like Angular, Ember, Polymer etc.
• Should have at least 3 years of experience in NodeJS + ExpressJS
• Knowledge of micro services/messaging architecture or previous experience of building scalable enterprise systems are highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Programming in JavaScript
  • Knowledge of JavaScript Design Patterns
  • Knowledge of front end code optimization techniques
  • In-depth knowledge of how browser works
  • Knowledge of Functional Programming paradigm along with libraries like lodash, ramda as well as RxJS is highly desirable
• Should have knowledge of Test Driven Development and experience in Unit Testing frameworks like JEST, Mocha, Chai, Jasmine
• Experience in one of the build tools like Webpack, Gulp or Grunt
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills is a must
