- Develop, maintain, and enhance modern backend services based on Java and Spring Boot.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and ensure secure, scalable integrations, leveraging Apache Kafka for event-driven architectures and real-time data streaming
- Work with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, MS SQL), including performance tuning and data modeling.
- Use Kubernetes for orchestration and management of containerized applications.
- Collaborate with frontend teams for integration with Angular-based applications and occasionally implement minor frontend features.
- Ensure code quality, testing, CI/CD integration, and technical documentation.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the e-connect portal. This includes:Integrating backend services with Angular-based UI components. Ensuring high availability and performance for portal features.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- Several years of professional experience in full stack or backend development with Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong experience with relational databases and proficiency in complex SQL queries.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, specifically Azure Pipelines.
- Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
- Basic knowledge of frontend technologies, especially Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Proficiency with version control (Git) and build tools (Maven/Gradle).
- Strong analytical skills, structured working style, and team-oriented mindset.
- Good command of English; German is an advantage.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools, e.g., Splunk.
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure (App Services, Container Apps, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or MQTT.
- Familiarity with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) environments and handling MESrelated data.
- Experienced in using Atlassian tools such as Confluence and Jira for documentation, collaboration, and project management.
- Attractive basic salary plus a 13th and 14th month salary (the 14th month salary is linked to the achievement of individual targets set for the year). The base salary amount is negotiable for highly skilled candidates.
