Distribution is a set of 3 platforms which provides reference data (bank client data, stocks reference data, etc.) to all internal bank systems. We work on server-side Java apps and GWT-based monitoring tool. Main project challenges are: high performance, service reliability and data consistency.
Development and support of data distribution system. Over 70 consumer systems and different up-stream sources (Bloomberg, Reuters, etc). Provider of essential business instruments (Equities, Bonds, Futures, etc). Back-end only.
Development process: Scrum. Team works in "Managed Delivery" model: there is no micro-management from customer.. Team contains dedicated business analyst, who is responsible for requirements preparation.
Project: Reference data hub in top tier investment bank.
Description: Financial instruments and client data distribution hub.
Team: Located in Krakow, managed by Luxoft technical PM in London.
Customer: Located in London, no micromanagement, Agile supporter.
