Our client is a global organization that develops a Shared Service Centre in Warsaw, Poland. On behalf of the company we are looking for a Senior GL Accountant with English.
Your main responsibility as a Senior GL Accountant will be bookkeeping and closing process of dedicated legal entities including: inventory, fixed assets, accruals, reconciliations and balance sheet and P&L analysis. Within the role you will also be responsible for VAT returns, supporting audit of financial statements as required and identifying opportunities for process improvements in GL area as well as driving & coordinating them. One of the main duties is also building and maintaining strong business relationship with Financial Controllers.
In order to be successful on this position you should have Master’s Degree in economics/ finance related discipline with minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in accounting. Professional experience of wide range of accountancy within a SSC/BPO or Accounting Office environment is strong asset as well as experience in change management, flexibility and ability to think strategically. We seek a professional with excellent communication and knowledge of SAP. You need to speak fluent English. Very good knowledge of any European language will be a strong asset.
