Our client is a global organization that develops a Shared Service Centre in Warsaw, Poland. On behalf of the company we are looking for a Senior GL Accountant with French.
Main responsibilities of GL Accountant with French will involve performing financial statement reviews, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions, monitoring and analyzing general ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial information is presented at period-end, preparing monthly reports. On this position you also will be responsible for performing month/ year – end activities and preparing and coding journal entries. Moreover you will take part in migration GL activities from France to Poland and you will be act as a coach for junior accountants.
We expect an ideal Candidate to have:
- Wide experience and knowledge in accountancy, especially in General Ledger (min. 4 years)
- Fluent French and very good English
- University degree with a major in finance, business or accounting or accounting professional qualifications
- Experience in using Oracle will be a plus
- Previous experience as Independent Accountant / Deputy Chief Accountant / Financial controller or BIG4 Auditor preferred
