Senior Infrastructure Project Manager

Responsibilites
- Drive day to day demands and migrations in order to achieve migration targets
- Developing project plans covering requirements, development, testing and delivery
- Defining reporting requirements specifically migration performance, decommissioning and hardware utilization
- Identify opportunities to decommission DB's and Servers
- Work with Business Representatives to ensure the team are forecasted, requested, and executed
- Provide to the Business update, manage and close out any Q&A requirements
- Highlight risks / issues / road blocks
- Ensure migration readiness & migration scheduling
- Actively drive the decommissioning of legacy platform instances to realize benefit
- Ensure standard tools and processes are used
- Support analysis work around planning and execution
Requirements
- Proven interpersonal and communications skills to establish excellent working relationships with a wide variety of people
- Fluent English
- Have a broad understanding of Database technology
- Have 5+ years' experience in Project Management, Delivery / Transformation Projects and Relationship Management
- Stakeholder & customer expectation management
- Proactive approach to work - identify risks and resolve them before they become issues
- Technical knowledge in Database services and IT Infrastructure migrations
- Strong experience analysis and problem solving
- Strong experience in preparing presentations, running meetings and communication
- Strong experience to meet targets in a pressurized environment
- Strong Excel skills - data analysis, conclusions, pivot tables etc.
- Experience with request management tools such as JIRA and Service NOW
- Have strong client service orientation, teamwork skills and influencing/negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently, innovate and work to deadlines
- Ability to understand the technical details, yet skilled to influence management
