Senior IT Engineer

Opis stanowiska
Senior IT Engineer is needed to work for an exciting well established and growing international telecom software house. Your role will involve set-up and maintenance of linux based servers as well as system management software and operating system utilities. You will also be involved in the development and support process of the applications produced by our company. You will be offered competitive salary and flexible working hours both in the office and remotely.
You will:
- Set up and maintain Linux based servers,
- Set up and maintain system management software and operating system utilities,
- Set up maintain virtual machines,
- Deploy and support applications produced by our company,
- Solve problems related both to applications and operating systems,
- Administrate office network and VPN connections to remote servers.
You may be:
- Responsible for data backup supervision,
- Involved in customer support,
- Testing developed applications,
Wymagania
Requirements:
- Linux specialist
- Experience in Linux systems administration installation and troubleshooting
- Scripting skills (e.g. bash, perl)
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Database administration
- Familiarity with CVS/git administration
- Familiarity with software development process
- Experience in maintaining IT infrastructure as well as network monitoring tools
- Minimum 2 years experience in IT business
- Advanced English(both written and verbal communication)
Nice to have:
- Experience in customers relations
- Network management
- Ant
- JBoss administration
- Redmine administration
- Knowledge of the systems and processes of the telecommunication sector
- Virtual machines
- Testing experience
