Responsibilites
- Communicate with customer, understand business requirements
- Develop features from the backlog according to DoD definition
- Design and execute unit/integration tests
- Project documentation
Requirements
- Thorough understanding of RESTful API concepts
- Vast experience in implementing Java back-end/web applications
- Experience in working with high-availability/concurrent Java back-end/web applications
- Experience in working in self-organized Scrum team
- Experience of being in a cross-functional Dev-Ops team (especially release process building)
- Basic knowledge of Amazon EC2
- Comfortable writing unit tests / integration tests and attention to quality code
- At least Upper-intermediate English level
- Excellent communication skills
Nice to have:
- experience in web crawling (nutch as an example)
- experience in AWS PaaS software projects (Amazon Elastic Beanstalk)
- experience in being a Scrum Master of a Scrum team
- experience of implementing schedulers
- experience with CI systems: Jenkins/ Cloudbees / TeamCity / other
- experience with production system monitoring / cloud solution logging software implementations
- experience with message queue software
- experience of AJAX / Front-end architecture
- experience with UI testing / automated UI testing
