Responsibilites
Your main responsibilities:
- Writing high quality Object-Oriented and computationally efficient code
- Programming in Java (J2EE standard)
- Web service development
- Multi-threaded development
- General web development (any common language and framework)
- Database modelling and development (Oracle preferred).
- Designing and developing infrastructure management interfaces and operations portals and the associated databases models.
- Designing and developing web service abstraction layers for the orchestrator and other infrastructure systems.
- Working independently to solve complex technical problems and provide solutions and designs.
- Working to project schedules and provide accurate and timely feedback for any assigned tasks.
- Producing high quality documentation related to solution design, operations, governance and end-users
Requirements
- Experience in Programming in Java (J2EE standard)
- Web service development (keywords: Tomcat, Jetty, SOAP)
- Multi-threaded development
- Experience of infrastructure products and concepts
- Experience of programming infrastructure applications
- Experience of development in a large corporate environment
- General web development (any common language and framework)
- Database modeling and development (Oracle preferred)
- Excellent written and spoken communication in English language
- Experience of infrastructure development in a global banking environment is an asset
- Undergraduate degree in a technical or quantitative field is desirable

Infrastructure project to provide orchestration infrastructure for service management technologies. The role on offer focuses on engineering and maintainers of the infrastructure orchestration platform as a globally available production solution. The role will focus on developing and maintaining the custom components and eco-system required by the orchestration platform. This presents a unique opportunity to develop backend components of an already established global system with very broad impact. This is not your typical GUI application; this is a complex high availability system, a great environment for an experienced senior specialist.
