Senior Java Developer

Responsibilites
- Analyses, plans, designs, implements, documents and tests regular items in domain and technology area according to specifications and software production process
- Proactively participates to process developments and takes part in delivering software
- Knows technology, methods and environments related to the assigned tasks and learns business and domain knowledge
- Estimates, develops and solves regular engineering problems
- Implements unit, integration and acceptance tests (TDD / ATDD)
- Root cause analysis / bug fixing
- Actively participates in release planning and production deployments
- Code reviews
- Communication with BAs and QAs
Requirements
Mandatory:
- Strong Java experience (preferably with Java 8)
- Operating Systems: experience in development & deployment on Unix/Linux & Windows platforms
- Design patterns
- Oracle SQL / PLSQL
- Very good English and communication skills
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills
Nice to have:
- Experience working with distributed teams
- Experience with agile (Scrum)
- Work with continuous integration tools
- Atlassian JIRA ticket/bug tracking
- Shell scripting
- Experience with FitNesse framework
- Understanding of test lifecycle in software project
- Financial experience (preferably Investment Banking)
