About the Project: The Trade Management division is a ‘front to back’ organization providing IT Development and Support for the Bank’s OTC and Securities Business for front, middle and back office applications. The department deals with multiple business areas including Rates, Credit, EMG, SP and Equities. The Trade Management team provides development and support globally for trade processing across all trading entities and clusters within the bank.
The Trade Management division is in the process of redesigning its IT systems and architecture to simplify the front-to-back flows and align business functions to work on standardized interfaces and trade models.
The brief of the department is to work with the users to design the optimum Straight Through Processing and control processes for all products, and to deliver solutions either through in-house development or implementation of third party products as well as support of legacy systems.
Our team: The role is based within the Trade Management Core Tech team which has a global development teams in London, New York, Raleigh, Singapore, Pune and Wroclaw. The TM Core Tech team is responsible for building the strategic architecture components required for Trade management, including Trade models, position management, life-cycle management, trade storage and interfaces to Risk, Operations and downstream consumers. The team works using AGILE principals and has a strong focus on technical quality and automated testing.
The role is for an Agile Developer, working within a locally based team in Wroclaw, to develop and design strategic components within Core Team.
Technologies used: Java, Web Services, Oracle or Sybase SQL
Opportunities:The Trade Management Core team is building the strategic infrastructure for Global Markers to optimize the front-to-back trade flows and establish an end-state architecture for the business.
