Location: Warsaw, Poland (currently - remote)
Job Type: B2B / Contract
Project length: 12 to 24 months
Role & Responsibilities
- Working on software development / creating new features for real-time systems
- Design and implementation of scalable APIs for data calculations, modifications and storage
- Daily collaboration with global team and various stakeholders
- Working with tools and technologies such as: Java, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Spring, Vertex
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong practical skills in software development using modern versions of Java (Java 8 or above)
- Practical Knowledge relating to full SDLC, algorithms, popular design patterns and data structures
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
- Basic skills in relational and non-relational databases
- Fluent command of English language
- Self-starter with "can do attitude" capable of working independently as well as part of a global team
Nice to have:
- University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent subject
- Knowledge of Reactive Programming
- Experience with node.js and/or React
