Senior Java Developer

Your job will give you the opportunity to work as a key member of the server side development team working on a high profile app for Equity Derivative structured products. There is ongoing investment from the business on this application, meaning there is a regular stream of innovation and improvements to be made.

• Deliver first-class software solutions to the global Equity Derivatives business.
• Implement key parts of the system to ensure high performance and high degree of extensibility of the system in the long-term.
• Develop interfaces to be used by the clients of the system.
• Provide second line support to the application's global user community, which will include assisting dedicated support staff and liaising with the members of other development teams directly

• Strong Java core
• experience in Java server side development
• Test Driven Development (TDD) and Agile methodologies
• Experience with multi threading
• Spring and Hibernate
• General knowledge of databases and SQL is mandatory (Sybase / Oracle)
• English enough for working as a part of distributed team
• Experience with unit testing and various mock
• Unix experience incl. Unix shell scripts useful
• SVN experience would be useful
