Prospective candidate will join highly agile & autonomous IT tech team designing, developing, and operating, high-performance cloud-native MyAnalytics Cloud Native QuantDevOps Platform.
o MyAnalytics Platform provides software development and hosting environment that enables Quant Engineers/Developers to build and deploy analytics/pricing services into production in a highly efficient, reliable, and regulatory-compliant manner. Using the principles that underpin modern cloud server-less computing MyAnalytics Platform takes care of the underlying infrastructure (servers, storage, databases, connectivity, low-latency pricing farms, large-scale high-bandwidth computational grid systems, big data storage services), and ensures scalability and fault tolerance for all services, allowing Quant Engineers to focus purely on development of the analytics functionality.
o MyAnalytics Platform deployed across AMER/EMEA/CH/APAC provides Cloud Native API, Toolchain, and Cloud Runtime to support innovative QuantDevOps model of software development, testing, delivery, and operations in the area of pricing and analytics. It enables close collaboration of Business and IT relying on practical implementation of modern concepts of agile, continuous delivery, micro-services, cloud native computing, and DevOps. MyAnalytics Platform provides practical implementation of Server-less Computing paradigm with particular focus on Function-as-a-Service (FaaS).
o Prospective candidate will take end-to-end DevOps ownership of Owl system being part of CS Structured Products pricing tech stack.
o Strategic focus of a prospective candidate will be architectural design and hands-one build-out of Linux/Java chapter/capabilities of MyAnalytics Platform to complement already existing Windows/.NET chapter/capabilities.
o Taking end-to-end DevOps ownership of Owl system (Java/Linux server-side and Web GUI) being part of CS Structured Products pricing tech stack.
o Architectural design and hands-on build-out of Java/Linux chapter/capabilities of MyAnalytics Platform to complement already existing Windows/.NET chapter/capabilities.
o Providing Linux/Java design/implementation guidance, best practices, solutions to the current predominantly Windows/.NET development team.
o Liaising with Business-side and IT-side stakeholders in order to agree on requirements, priorities, and roadmaps of deliveries
o Linux, Java, Kubernetes/Nomad
o Cloud-based and micro-service oriented systems and architectures
o Distributed multi-tenant high-performance and high-availability systems
o CI/CD Toolchain: Atlassian JIRA/Confluence/Bitbucket, Jenkins, test automation, deployment automation
o DevOps experience with Support L3
o Excellent analytics and problem solving skills
o Proactive communicator with practical solution-oriented mindset able to liaise with both Business-side and IT-side stakeholders
