Design and develop infrastructure management interfaces and operations portals and the associated databases models.
Design and develop web service abstraction layers for the orchestrator and other infrastructure systems.
Work independently to solve complex technical problems and provide solutions and designs.
Work to project schedules and provide accurate and timely feedback for any assigned tasks.
Produce high quality documentation related to solution design, operations, governance and end-users
Must have:
Experience of infrastructure products and concepts
Experience of programming infrastructure applications
Programming in Java (J2EE standard)
Web service development
Multi-threaded development
General web development (any common language and framework)
Database modeling and development (Oracle preferred)
Nice to have:
Experience of infrastructure development in a global banking environment
Orchestration and automation of infrastructure has been identified as a key deliverable in reducing our total cost of ownership. Additional benefits to improving quality and time to market of new solutions. To this end a team was formed recently to deliver a global orchestration capability. The role on offer, which is a core part of the team, will focus on engineering and maintaining the infrastructure orchestration platform as a globally available production solution. The role will focus on developing and maintaining the custom components and eco-system required by the orchestration platform.
