Responsibilites
- Work with customer on understanding business requirements and converting them to software
requirements
- Participate in defining architecture solution
- Perform development tasks
- Coordinate team work and ensure timely delivery and successful release to production
- Coach more junior team members
Requirements
- Java commercial experience 5+ years
- Desire to work independently and take responsibility for results of team work
- Good knowledge of multi-threaded programming
- Core Java, JDBC, Junit
- Spring, Hibernate framework
- Experience with SQL, JDBC
- Experience with UNIX platforms
- Excellent problems solving and analytical skills
- Deep understanding of development tools
- Excellent communication skills
- Agile experience
- Positive and friendly attitude to people
We offer
This is a position in a project for one of biggest investment banks in the world.
The bank is now in the process of re-engineneering technology landscape for its Equity Derivatives department, which includes major process improvements, onboarding of new technology, significantly re-working architectural approaches and design.
You will be working in a team that participates in this process in tight collaboration with IT from customer side, working on designing and implementing from scratch new solution for aggregating results of Risk calculation and distribution to downstream systems,
