Senior Java Developer

Responsibilites
- Development of backend of reference data distribution banking application.
- Liaising with Customer on regular calls.
- Work in distributed team based in Krakow, London, New York with deep level of communication inside of international team.
- Facilitating business/domain knowledge improvement within the team as part of strategic initiative.
Requirements
- Advanced spoken/written English
- Proven working experience (>5 years) in J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Servlets/JSP, JavaScript/JQuery, Tomcat, JDBC, JAXB, JSON, JUnit/TestNG, Git
- Agile practice
- Experience in Continuous Integration
- Good communication skills
Nice to have:
- Knowledge and experience in Oracle PL/SQL
- Experience of work in distributed team
- Investment banking experience
- Banking related background

The primary objective of Product Taxonomy project is to deliver a standardized product nomenclature and to report trades, positions, risk and PnL against standardized products to support the mapping of pricing and risk models to products, combined with mandates authorities.
A secondary objective is to provide a common source of product reference data.
