Senior Java Developer

On behalf of our client, world leader in the gaming technology, we are currently looking for candidates interested in a position of Senior Java Developer.

Location: Warsaw
Job type: 1 year contract (B2B) with possibility of long time cooperation

Responsibilities:
• developing software through life cycle (design, development, unit tests),
• initiating and leading engineering teams on development of new products,
• supporting requirement analysis, test issue resolution, training, operations support,
• research, defining, presentation and recommending software designs and/or alternative strategies,
• leading the software development team in root cause analysis associated with software defects affecting customer sites,
• on call support for production issues,
• providing mid-level engineers with methodologies and effective techniques for design engineering and problem troubleshooting and resolution,
• participating in staff reviews and interviews for new candidates,
• participating in future system conversions for world-wide customers.


Requirements:
• experience in Java EE, Spring, Hibernate frameworks,
• very good knowledge of Oracle Database,
• very good knowledge of testing tools, (EasyMock, JUnit, TestNG, SoapUI),
• very good knowledge of build tools (Maven, Ivy, Ant),
• very good knowledge of Jboss 4.2.3 & Jboss 7, Visual C#,
• fluency in English.

Nice to have:
• advanced proficiency in software construction, software testing, software configuration management,
software engineering process.
