Senior Java Developer

Responsibilites
- Developing in Java
- Understanding the technology stack and how it impacts their development approach.
- Agile development of feature based deliverables.
- Thorough testing of features built.
- Adhering to design guidelines and standards.
- Ensuring builds are completed without errors.
- Bug fixing
- Second line support along with the rest of the dev team
Requirements
Mandatory:
- Strong Knowledge of Java Language
- Structures, algorithms, and network programming using Java NIO
- Development expertise in high performance, high availability, high throughout, high capacity, yet low latency, transaction-oriented, distributed system, preferably in a financial environment
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- Experience with order management systems or order state handling
- Knowledge of TCP/IP including UDP, multicast, broadcast, etc.
- Experience with automated unit testing methodologies (such as JUnit)
- Fluent English
Desirable:
- Knowledge of financial industry
- SQL server knowledge
