You will be expected to work as a member of the development team and participate in all aspects of software development lifecycle with a focus on Java Development using J2EE standards.
The ideal candidate will possess solid technical skills as well as the drive to learn more about the business and new technologies.
Candidate should be open to work front to back in applications and must have sound grasp of development best practices and system architecture.
Working with the QA team to ensure high quality outcomes
Developing, testing, and releasing new & enhanced application functionalities/feeds.
Required:
Experienced developer (5+ years minimum) in software development
Primary skill sets - Java, Oracle, Linux, Messaging -TIBCO/EMS
Knowledge and understanding of current best practices in Core Java and J2EE development
Strong understanding of relational databases (writing SQL/Stored Procedures)
Ability to use knowledge of MVC frameworks - Spring and/or Struts is required
Excellent organizational, problem solving, and written/verbal communication skills.
Experience with all phases of the systems development lifecycle
Very thorough understanding of the Java technology fundamentals and design patterns used in real time transaction processing systems
Demonstrates exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication , organizational, and collaboration skills
Bachelors or Master's Degree
Recommended:
Understanding of the Fixed Income Credit domain a plus
Good understanding of design patterns used in STP and Post Trading systems a plus
Debt Capital Markets require these resources to perform BAU work for RTB. Poland offers the best choice as some of the work is for the London desks and will require London staff coordination and working hours. These roles are part of the strategy to build out DCM knowledge in Poland. Long term, this will result in fewer development resources being required in London to perform BAU development/support in future, specific plans to deploy particular roles are still in process.
